Laura Johnson is an accomplished financial expert with almost 40 years of experience in the financial services industry. She is the proud owner of Hummingbird Wealth Management, based in Walkersville, MD. Laura is a graduate of the University of MD – College Park, where she earned her undergraduate and MBA degrees. She has also completed her Certified Financial Planner coursework from Georgetown University and is a Certified Divorce Financial Analyst. 

At Hummingbird Wealth Management, Laura has developed a practice that prioritizes the individual needs of her clients. She understands that each client has a unique financial situation, and she works diligently to identify the right puzzle pieces that will lead to financial success. Laura takes the time to connect with her clients and understand their goals, risk tolerance, and personal values, which allows her to customize a plan that is tailored to their unique needs.

When she is not working, she spends time with her high school sweetheart, Craig, on their small farm in Libertytown, MD. They have three boys who live close by and Laura loves spending time with her grandson. Laura is also actively involved with Second Chances Garage, a local non-profit organization in Frederick County, MD where she serves as the chairman. In addition, she spends her free time raising funds for St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
